Please read these terms carefully before using Unishoppers as a customer or a seller.
Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Unishoppers (unishoppers.in), a multi-vendor online marketplace operated from Sangamner, Maharashtra, India. By accessing or using our website, creating an account, placing an order or registering as a seller, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Unishoppers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law to use Unishoppers. Sellers must be a legally operating individual or business in India.
Your Account
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering
- Keep your password and OTP confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
- One person or business should not create multiple accounts to misuse offers or policies
Our Role as a Marketplace
Unishoppers is an online platform that connects independent sellers with customers. Products are listed and sold by sellers, who are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the quality of their products. Unishoppers manages the platform, payments and order delivery, and provides support as described in these Terms.
Products, Pricing & Availability
- We try to keep product details, images and prices accurate, but errors can happen
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Shipping charges and any Cash on Delivery fee are shown at checkout before you pay
- We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock or was listed at an obvious pricing error. In that case, any amount paid will be refunded
Orders & Payments
An order is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation from us. You can pay online (UPI, cards, net banking) through our payment gateway, or choose Cash on Delivery where available.
We do not store your full card, CVV or UPI PIN details. Payment failures, if any, are handled by the payment gateway and your bank.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders are delivered through our shipping partners. Estimated delivery times are shown on the product page or at checkout and are not guaranteed, as delays can occur due to weather, courier issues or incorrect addresses. Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
You may cancel an order before it is shipped from your account’s Orders section. Returns and refunds are handled as described in our Return & Refund Policy. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method.
Seller Terms
If you sell on Unishoppers, you also agree to our Seller Guidelines and the following:
- Provide correct business, GST, PAN and bank details, and keep them updated
- A flat platform fee of 5% applies to each sale, plus applicable taxes and statutory deductions such as TDS under Section 194-O
- You are responsible for your own tax compliance, including GST
- All listings are subject to approval, and we may edit, reject or remove any listing
- Payouts are made as per the payout schedule shown in your seller dashboard, after the order is completed
- Sellers must pack orders properly and keep delivery timelines
Prohibited Activities
- Listing or selling illegal, harmful, restricted or counterfeit/fake branded products
- Posting false, misleading or copied product information or reviews
- Price manipulation or fake discounts
- Hacking, scraping or interfering with the website or its security
- Using Unishoppers for fraud, abuse or any unlawful purpose
Intellectual Property
The Unishoppers name, logo, website design and content are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. Sellers confirm that they own or have the right to use the images and content they upload, and allow Unishoppers to display them on the platform.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Unishoppers is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues caused by sellers’ products, third-party services or events beyond our control. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or permanently close an account, or remove listings, if these Terms or the Seller Guidelines are violated, or if we suspect fraud or illegal activity. You may also ask us to close your account at any time.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern directly.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Continued use of Unishoppers after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
